Tujifunze LAN Release

The Tujifunze android application enable learners of all ages from pre-scholar to college to interact with multimedia content in a meaningfully way so that they can acquire expected knowledge. The LMS and its android platform are tested in three schools in Tanzania. The research studies show positive contribution in learner motivation and learner knowledge acquisition. The LMS also enable teachers to create a context base multimedia lesson and share these lessons with learners. The teachers also can include customizable quizzes for students self assessment in their designed multimedia contents. The system also collects information regarding students learning and learners’ assessment. The Tujifunze LMS development team is currently deploying the system in other three schools in Nyarugusu refugee camp to facility learning of reading, writing and arithmetic (3Rs).The development team members are all instructors in The University of Dodoma. The development of the first version was funded by Ministry of Education Tanzania through LANES Project. The second version is funded by SPIDER as main funder and UDOM as Co - funder.
