Global POI Finder

Global POI Finder lets you travel World Map via the GPS keyboard or the search function. Both landscape and portrait mode is supported .When app loading tries to get your last known location . If that fails then places you in New York City , USA .With joystic you can place your marker everywhere on Earth . POIS button returns on map the PointsOfInterest around this point .Press on a Poi marker and you will be redirected to the corresponding wikipedia page . Reset Button travels you back on your real position(or New York City if GPS is unavailable) . Clear Button clears all Poils markers and centers map to your marker .Enter a term in SearchArea and press Search to view the matching results .Select a result to locate yourself there .The app contains full screen ads (if applicable from VSERV) . The ads are displayed 20 seconds after launching the app and every two minutes . If the app grows too big because of the map tiles just "Clear data" under Settings/Apps/Global Poi Finder . The app makes use of the official Wikipedia Geodata Service and the Nominatim API.
